After working in the building industry for four years, Blake Huegel opened his first assisted living facility for seniors, Cedar Highlands Care, in 2012. Today, Blake Huegel continues to oversee the company that he started to help families provide comprehensive care for their elderly family members.
At Cedar Highlands Care, Mr. Huegel focuses on helping senior citizens with paralysis or a history of dementia. He supervises staff who provide care for eight senior citizens, providing them with assisted living and memory care.
In 2020, Mr. Huegel opened another assisted facility, Belamour, which belongs to a network of six assisted living centers in Park County. As operator and owner, he supervises staff who provide senior citizens with the same level of care as Cedar Highlands Care.
Mr. Huegel received the Park College Rising Star Award and the Business Entrepreneurship Award, given to Park College alumni who run their own businesses. In addition to his work at these facilities, he is involved with Business Networking International and is part of Battleground, a local group.
In his free time, Mr. Huegel enjoys snowboarding, snowmobiling, hiking, flying, motocross, and camping. He is currently a resident of Vancouver, Washington.
